BRA Opening All Payment Centres This Saturday

Property owners and all other taxpayers will now have the weekend to make payments in person, with the Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) opening all five of its payment centres on Saturday, September 30.

Erica Lazare, the Authority’s Communications Officer,  urged persons who prefer in-person payments, to take advantage of the Saturday opening.

“All of our payment centres will open on Saturday for all payment transactions, whether it be Land Tax, Licensing, VAT or any other payment. We wanted to provide the opportunity to those persons who still prefer to line up to pay their Land Tax,” she stated.

The Authority’s payment centres will open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. These locations include Holetown Public Centre; Warrens Towers II (2nd floor); Pine; Bridge Street Mall and Southern Plaza.

Ms Lazare also reminded the public that persons who use the Authority’s new online Land Tax portal to pay land tax bills will benefit from an extended ten per cent discount deadline until December 31, 2023. Persons are encouraged to visit the portal at bra.gov.bb or https://bill.bra.gov.bb to register, view and pay their bills the easy and efficient way.
